Assistant Manager Accountabilities

To assure that Subway’s top priorities (listed below) are met, the Assistant Manager is expected to train employees in the priority areas and to personally assist with the areas, namely:

  • Direct Customer Assistance (Sandwich, Wrap, Salad Preparation)
  • Panning, retarding, proofing, baking Breads
  • Associated Food Preparation
  • Manning the Cash register
  • All areas of Store Cleanliness
    • Cleaning Lobby & Restrooms
    • Maintaining a clean, stocked bain and prep areas.
    • Washing Dishes and Utensils and maintaining a well-organized backroom.

These tasks are essential functions of the Assistant Manager

Assists Manager in areas of:

  • Employee Supervision and Training
  • Training and Development
  • Ensuring Quality Products
  • Store Marketing
  • Administrative Requirements
