Store Manager Accountabilities

Store Managers are classified as a Full-Time Salaried Exempt employee that is required to work a minimum of 47 + scheduled hours. We require our managers to be on time and any deviation from the manager’s approved schedule needs to be approved by their District Manager.

q       Works with District Management staff and other members of the office and upper management in a cooperative, courteous, and professional manner.

q       To assure that Subway’s top priorities (listed below) are met, the Manager is expected to train employees in the priority areas and to personally assist with the areas, namely:

o       Direct Customer Assistance (Sandwich, Wrap, Salad Preparation)

o       Panning, retarding, proofing, baking Breads

o       Associated Food Preparation

o       Manning the Cash register

o       All areas of Store Cleanliness

§         Cleaning Lobby & Restrooms

§         Maintaining a clean, stocked bain and prep areas.

§         Washing Dishes and Utensils and maintaining a well-organized backroom.

These tasks are essential functions of the Store Manager

  • Employee Supervision
  • Employee Selection, Training, and Development
  • Ensures Quality Product Control
  • Maintains Quality Facilities 
  • Implements and Organizes Marketing Activities
  • Maintains Administrative Requirements
  • Maintains adherence to all policies and procedures as per Subway Operations Manual
